Online Social Networking Event Co-Hosted By Redfish Technology - Green Economy, Jobs and Opportunities Expo – Preview Online Eve

The NY Green Festival will host the ‘Green Economy, Jobs and Opportunities Expo’. As a prelude to that event green job seekers can ask questions and join the dialogue during an online Social Media Meet Up to take place on April 12, 2012 6pm – 10pm (Eastern). Co-hosting and answering your questions, Redfish Technology, Inc. is a longtime recruiter in Green Technology. The Greening the Culture Campaign networking event is an opportunity for green and environmentally friendly companies, organizations and professionals to get together in person and virtually to leverage their collective social networks to reach a wider audience.

The panel is part of the ‘Green Economy Jobs and Entrepreneurial Opportunities in the Energy Efficiency and Clean Tech Sector’ expo taking place at New York’s Green Festival®.

Energy Pricing and Costs, and Policy for America’s Future

The Hamilton Project’s new study “A Strategy for America’s Energy Future: Illuminating Energy’s Full Costs” starts from the precept that energy consumption is critical to economic growth and our quality of life, but that we have some unintended and unaddressed negative consequences, and that the goal of our energy and climate policy must be to improve Americans’ well-being. Our energy choices do not currently address the social costs such as shorter lives, higher health care expenses, a changing climate, and weakened national security. While these costs are not captured in the retail price, we certainly are paying for them, and dearly.

Networking Opportunity at the Green Jobs &, Entrepreneurship Fair

Of the many things I enjoy about recruiting, networking with green energy professionals is at the top of my list. I will have an amazing opportunity to do this at the Green Jobs & Entrepreneurship Fair, February 16th, 2011 in Berkeley, CA. Our CEO of Redfish Technology, Rob Reeves, will be participating on a panel discussing the Transition from High Tech to Green Tech and I will be talking with industry leaders and professionals on how to break into Green.
