When viewed against the backdrop of significant global challenges in energy and waste management our innovative AquaCritox Technology is highly relevant to many diverse industries.
SCFI Group is a new name but not a new business. In 2007 we acquired AquaCritox® super critical water oxidation (SCWO) technology through our purchase of the Super Critical Fluids business of Super Critical Fluids of Sweden, a subsidiary of Chematur Engineering of Sweden.
AquaCritox® is a groundbreaking solution to one of the most important issues of our times, how to dispose of wet waste (sewage sludge, putrescible waste and other organic materials) safely, quickly and efficiently while minimizing cost. AquaCritox® is a technology that is proven to destruct wet waste without the generation of any hazardous waste or emissions and in addition can be a source of renewable energy.
We aim to make AquaCritox® easily accessible to our customers. Where appropriate, we offer a Design, Finance, Build, Own, Operate and Maintain package where we take the capital and operational risks and you the customer enjoy the benefits of our technology. Normal lead time for Aqua Critox® is 18-24 months from order We are always available to discuss with you how our technology can help you in the areas of compliance, ease of operation and improving your bottom line. We operate a 250 litre/hr (14,000 pop equivalent) demonstration Aqua Critox® plant in Cork Ireland. This plant can be visited by appointment.
