Green Jobs on the Rise!

Another great weekly report from the Green Job Bank: 2,370 new green jobs indexed!

For the past 3 week, every week has seen an increase in the number of jobs indexed.

• 2,370 this week
• 2,222 last week
• 2,192 the week before.

The total number of current green jobs (less than 60 days old) today is 10,822 searchable green jobs, another record!

Among the green employers hiring the most this week, we have :

• Vestas, hiring wind turbine technicians.
• REC Solar, hiring solar consultants and solar installers.
• ERM, hiring a lot of Air Quality Engineers, and Environmental Compliance Consultants.
• Our own Federal Government, hiring some PHD's and technicians at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory.

It looks like February will be a great month, and beat the January numbers.
